Warning: counterfeits
A warning against unauthorised copies of Besson of Switzerland equipment — how to identify a genuine product.
Besson of Switzerland equipment is the subject of unauthorised copies that do not respect the technical parameters required for listening pedagogy according to the Tomatis method.
Why this warning
The pedagogical effectiveness of the Tomatis method rests on precise technical parameters (analogue, real-time gating, precession, calibration of the audio chain). Equipment presented as "compatible" or "equivalent" does not respect all of these parameters — to the detriment of the clinical outcome for the practitioner and their patient.
Authenticating your equipment
A genuine Besson of Switzerland product:
- Bears the Besson of Switzerland® mark and the official reference (N426, EVM-4, MBCT-23, etc.) engraved or screen-printed
- Is supplied with its serial number, its documentation and its calibration certificate
- Comes directly from the Swiss factory or from an approved reseller
Illegal counterfeits of our headphones
We wish to inform our customers that counterfeit products bearing our mark are in circulation. These products are not genuine, are not inspected and carry no warranty whatsoever.

How to recognise a genuine product?
- Buy only from our official website and check the list of approved resellers on our Contact us page.
- Examine the labels, packaging and manufacturing details — counterfeits often show spelling mistakes, poor stitching or lower-quality materials.
The import and sale of counterfeits are illegal (art. 13 LPM). We work with the authorities to have such content removed and to protect our customers.
If in doubt
To verify the authenticity of an item or to report a suspected counterfeit, contact us with the references, photos and provenance of the product concerned.
